History:
Slavic immigrants imported solid coloured cattle, which were later crossed with red Franc cattle from German immigrants.
The breed has been named Carinthian Blond Cattle since 1890.

Special characteristics:
Rugged, fertile, superior mothering characteristics, well suited for beef production in extensive husbandry, very high meat quality, good grazers.

Phenotype description:
Solid colour ranging from almost white to pale blond with low pigmentation, pink muzzle, yellow horn and hooves.
